Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using any services provided by Limra Overseas Education. By accessing our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Introduction
Welcome to Limra Overseas Education (‘Company’, ‘we’, ‘us’, or ‘our’). These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of our educational consultancy services, website, and any related platforms or applications (collectively, the ‘Services’).
By engaging our services — whether in person, online, or through any affiliated channel — you (‘Client’, ‘you’, or ‘your’) confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in their entirety.
2. Scope of Services
Limra Overseas Education provides overseas education consultancy services, including but not limited to:
- University and institution selection guidance for international study destinations
- Application processing and document preparation assistance
- Student visa consultation and application support
- Scholarship and financial aid advisory
- Pre-departure orientation and post-arrival support
- Language proficiency test preparation guidance (IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, etc.)
- Accommodation and travel advisory services
Our services are strictly advisory and consultancy in nature. We do not guarantee admission to any educational institution, grant, scholarship, or visa approval.
3. Client Eligibility
Our services are available to individuals who:
- Are at least 17 years of age, or have consent from a parent or legal guardian
- Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information during registration and throughout the engagement
- Comply with all applicable laws of their country of origin and the destination country
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services if a client is found to have provided false or misleading information.
4. Client Responsibilities
As a client of Limra Overseas Education, you agree to:
- Provide genuine and complete documentation required for applications and visa processing
- Promptly respond to requests for additional information or documents within the specified timeframes
- Pay all applicable fees as agreed upon in writing before services commence
- Attend scheduled consultations and orientation sessions punctually
- Inform us immediately of any changes to your personal details, academic records, or circumstances that may affect your application
- Comply with the rules, regulations, and academic requirements of your chosen institution
- Conduct yourself professionally and respectfully with all Limra Overseas Education staff and representatives
5. Fees and Payment
5.1 Service Fees
All service fees will be communicated clearly in writing prior to engagement. Fees may vary depending on the destination country, institution type, and scope of services selected.
5.2 Payment Terms
- Service fees are due as per the agreed payment schedule outlined in your service agreement
- Payments must be made via approved payment methods (bank transfer, online payment gateway, or other authorized channels)
- All fees are quoted in the applicable local or agreed currency and are subject to applicable taxes
5.3 Refund Policy
Refunds are subject to the following conditions:
- Fees paid for services already rendered are non-refundable
- If a visa application is rejected by the relevant embassy or immigration authority despite accurate documentation, partial refund eligibility will be assessed on a case-by-case basis per the terms of your service agreement
- Administrative and processing fees paid to third parties (universities, visa offices, courier services, etc.) are non-refundable
- Refund requests must be submitted in writing within 30 days of the triggering event
6. No Guarantee of Outcomes
Limra Overseas Education does not guarantee admission to any institution, issuance of a student visa, or award of any scholarship. All outcomes are at the sole discretion of the respective institution, embassy, or awarding body.
While we make every effort to maximise your chances of success, we are not responsible for decisions made by universities, immigration authorities, or any third-party entity.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, materials, branding, logos, guides, and resources provided by Limra Overseas Education are the exclusive intellectual property of the Company and are protected under applicable copyright and trademark laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or use any of our proprietary materials for commercial purposes without prior written consent from the Company.
8. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of any sensitive information shared during the course of service engagement. We will not disclose your personal or application details to unauthorized third parties. For full details on data handling, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Limra Overseas Education shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our services
- Delays, errors, or omissions caused by third-party institutions, government authorities, or courier/postal services
- Loss of opportunity, financial loss, or reputational damage resulting from visa rejection, admission denial, or any decision made by a third party
- Any force majeure events including natural disasters, pandemics, government policy changes, or geopolitical disruptions
Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the total fees paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
10. Termination of Services
Either party may terminate the service engagement by providing written notice. In the event of termination:
- Services rendered up to the date of termination will be invoiced and are payable
- Any documents, information, or materials submitted by the client will be returned or destroyed as requested
- Termination does not waive any outstanding obligations or liabilities of either party
We reserve the right to terminate services immediately and without notice if a client engages in fraudulent, illegal, or abusive behaviour.
11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which Limra Overseas Education is registered.
Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through mutual negotiation. If unresolved, the parties agree to seek mediation prior to initiating any legal proceedings.
12. Amendments
Limra Overseas Education reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of material changes via email or through our official communication channels. Continued use of our services after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
